We completely overhauled this Bekum BAE 1 blow moulding machine. Bekum's compact BAE series is known for its robust mechanics – an ideal candidate for a retrofit instead of buying new.
At our workshop in Ettenheim the machine was fully dismantled and cleaned: frame and panels received a two-component coating, metal components were re-galvanised, hydraulics and pneumatics overhauled and all wear parts replaced. The outdated control system was replaced with a modern PLC featuring a new operator panel, simple fault diagnosis and long-term spare parts availability.
Since recommissioning, the Bekum BAE 1 has been producing reliably again – like new, at a fraction of the cost of a new machine.
